The Fall Meeting of the Massachusetts Community Colleges Trustees' Association (MCCTA) was held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Quinsigamond Commununity College in Worcester. Current efforts include:

  • Information Technology Assessment (Click here for more Information)
  • Analysis and assessment of Campus Insurance to “right size” insurance selection
  • Assessment of  Campus Bookstores
  • Joint Training and Education Opportunities
  • Evaluation of Energy Services

PACE is also an active member of the National Association of Consortia Leadership, a Norfolk, VA based organization, and, as such, is part of a national effort to promote

The activities of PACE are directed by the PACE Steering Committee.  The Committee consists of three State University Presidents, three Community College Presidents, the Executive Officer of the State University Council of Presidents; the Executive Officer of the Community College Council of Presidents; A representative of the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education, (ex officio) and the Executive Director of Pace (convener, ex officio).

Community College Trustees Attend 2014 ACCT Legislative Summit

(2/18/14) Early this February, more than 30 community college Trustees from Massachusetts traveled to Washington D.C. to join their colleagues from across the United States at the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) National Legislative Summit.  This year, Trustees had the opportunity to participate in numerous workshops with topics such as the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act and the strengthening of workforce development through the Workforce Investment Act.

  • OCTOBER 1ST, 10:00 am: Intellitek LearnMate lab program at Taconic High School Announcement

The Intellitek LearnMate system will ultimately improve the instructional capability of BCC's Engineering Technology program.  It will also be accessible to Taconic High School faculty and students enrolled in their Manufacturing Technology program.
